Rating the riskIn Dane County, Wisconsin, the double-walled tanks are the containment system of choice, according to Bob Williams, marketing manager for the DanCo ES Co-op. "With this system, you don''t get a buildup of water in the containment dike," he says. While he has installed five of the fuel tank systems in the past year, Williams admits many producers are hesitant to make the investment. "We try to get them to go with some cordless type drill of containment because long-term we think they will need it. We provide financing to ease the cost," he says.
